CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS
The Town Commission of the Town of Hillsboro Beach may from time to time, on its own motion or on petition, after a public hearing of which at least 15 days notice has been given in an official newspaper, amend, supplement or change, modify or repeal the boundaries or regulations herein or subsequently established, only after submitting same to the Board of Zoning Appeals for its recommendation and report. The amendment shall require the favorable vote of ⅘ of the members of the Town Commission.

Before any action shall be taken as provided in this article, the party or parties proposing or recommending a change in the district regulations or district boundaries shall deposit with the Town Clerk the sum of $250.00 to cover the approximate cost of this procedure, and under no condition shall the sum or any part thereof be refunded for failure of the change to be adopted by the Town Commission of Hillsboro Beach.
