Classification of Districts

§ 230-6 Establishment of districts.

For the purpose of this chapter, the Township is hereby divided into zoning districts which shall be designated as follows:

§ 230-7 Zoning Map.

The boundaries of said districts shall be as shown upon the map attached to and made a part of this chapter, which shall be designated the Zoning Map.[1] The said map and all notations, references and other things shown thereon shall be made a part of this chapter, as if the matters and things shown on said map were all fully described herein.

§ 230-8 Boundaries of districts.

Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of the various districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
A. 
The district boundaries are center lines of roads unless otherwise shown.
B. 
Where the district boundaries are not shown to be roads, the boundaries shall be construed to be property lines, existing at the time of adoption, or dimensions from streets or center lines of roads.

§ 230-9 Federal, state, and municipal owned property.

Wherever federal, state, or municipal owned property or property owned by any federal or state agency, or any political subdivision thereof, is included in one or more zoning districts, it shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter only insofar as permitted by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
