The AG agriculture district encompasses contiguous territory located within LaSalle County, lying outside the corporate limits and within one and one-half (11/2) miles of the corporate limits of the village. These areas have traditionally been used as farms. (Ord. 92-09, 4-14-1992)
11-9-2: SITE AND STRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS:
The following requirements are applicable in the AG agriculture district: (Ord. 92-09, 4-14-1992; amd. 2003 Code)
A. Minimum lot area: 5 acres.
B. Minimum lot width: 200 feet.
C. Minimum lot depth: 400 feet.
D. Minimum setbacks:
1. From front lot line: The front setback line shall be not less than 70 feet from the centerline of a township street or road, 100 feet from the centerline of a county highway and 175 feet from the centerline of a federal or state highway.
2. Side yards:
a. Minimum total setback from both side lot lines: 25 feet.
b. Minimum setback from either side lot line: 10 feet.
3. From rear lot line: 50 feet.
E. Maximum height: No structure shall exceed 3 stories or 100 feet in height. (Ord. 92-09, 4-14-1992)
11-9-3: PERMITTED USES:
Church or similar place worship, parish house, church hall, or rectory or convent.
Country club, private.
Farms.
Home garden.
Nurseries and/or greenhouses.
Nursery school, kindergarten, elementary school or high school; private.
One single-family dwelling or one two-family dwelling per lot.
Riding stable; provided, that the confining or sheltering of applicable animals is not within five hundred feet (500') of a lot having an area of less than one acre and improved with a single-family dwelling. (Ord. 92-09, 4-14-1992; amd. Ord. 09-03, 7-1-2003)

Agricultural implement sales.
Airport with unsurfaced runway.
Animal hospitals.
Cemeteries.
Churches and other places of formal worship.

Government uses.
Home occupations (see section 11-10-2 of this title).
Hospital or institution of an educational, religious, charitable or philanthropic nature; provided, that it be located in a lot which contains at least one acre.
Schools, public or private.
Training of security related canines and handlers.
Utility substations (see section 11-10-5 of this title).
