Whenever the regulations of this ordinance require a greater width of size of yards, or require a lower height of buildings or smaller number of stories, or require a greater percentage of lot to be left unoccupied, or impose other more restrictive standards than are required in or under any other statute, the requirements of this ordinance shall govern. Whenever the provisions of any other statute require more restrictive standards than are required by this ordinance, the provisions of such statute shall govern.

Should any section or provision of this ordinance be declared invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof which is not specifically declared to be invalid or unconstitutional.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict are herewith repealed.

BUILDING PERMIT RATES

1.

For valuation from $500.00 to $1,000.00 the fee shall be $15.00.

2.

From $1,001.00 to $5,000.00 the fee shall be $15.00 for the first thousand plus $4.00 for each additional thousand or fraction.

3.

From $5,001.00 to $15,000.00 the fee shall be $31.00 for the first $5,000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional thousand or fraction.

From $15,001.00 to $100,000.00 the fee shall be $61.00 for the first $15,000.00 plus $2.00 for each additional thousand or fraction.

5.

From $100,001.00 to $500,000.00 the fee shall be $231.00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $1.00 for each additional thousand or fraction.

6.

From $500,001.00 to $1,000,000.00 the fee shall be $631.00 for the first $500,000.00 plus $0.50 for each additional thousand or fraction.

7.

From $1,000,001.00 and over, the fee shall be $881.00 for the first $1,000,000.00 plus $0.25 for each thousand or fraction.
