CHAPTER 1150

B-3 Retail Business District

1150.01 ESTABLISHED.

   There is hereby established a new Zoning District Classification to be known as the B-3 Retail Business District.

1150.02 PERMITTED USES; PERFORMANCE STANDARDS; AREA REQUIREMENTS.

   The permitted uses within a B-3 Retail Business District shall be the same as those principal permitted uses within a B-1 Retail Business District with the exception that the new B-3 District shall also permit residential uses as regulated in an R-3 Zoning District. All other performance standards, height restrictions, lot area frontage and yard requirements for the new B-3 Zoning District Classification shall remain the same as those of a B-1 Retail Business District.

1150.03 BOUNDARIES.

   The boundaries of the B-3 Zoning District shall be restricted to the initial area involving properties on the South side of Line Street between Short Street to the East and Main Street to the West. Those properties located at the corners of Market and Line Streets having a Market Street address are not classified as part of the newly created B-3 District and shall remain zoned as B-1 Retail Business.
