OTHER DISTRICTS

10-8A-1: INTENT:

This district is intended to provide for land uses for governmental, educational, medical, recreational, religious and cultural services. The property will primarily be owned and maintained by government entities, educational institutions, and religious, parochial, benevolent, charitable, and other nonprofit organizations. Adjustment training centers.
Airport.
Alcohol sales (on- and off-sale).
Assembly halls (publicly owned).
Boarding house.
Boarding schools.
Campgrounds.
Cemetery.

Community centers.
Community garden.
Community residence.
Community theater.
Congregate housing.
Detention facilities.
Educational institutions.
Electric vehicle charging stations (restricted, public and rapid charging).

Notes:
    1.    Structures shall comply with required yards, parking and loading spaces and applicable landscaping requirements set forth in this code.
    2.    In the PL district, there are no limitations; except, that within 100 feet of a residential district, no building shall be higher than 65 feet.
   A.   Accessory Buildings:
      1.   An accessory building shall not be permitted in any required front yard and no separate accessory building shall be erected within three feet (3') of any principal building's line.
      2.   Accessory buildings shall be at least three feet (3') from zoning lot lines of adjoining lots, footage to be measured from the overhang building line.
      3.   On a corner lot they shall conform to the setback requirements on the side street, except in the case of an accessory structure door parallel to the alley, the minimum yard requirement setback shall not be less than sixteen feet (16'). (Ord. 2408, 10-1-2012)

Outdoor recreational facilities.
Public and private parks.
Roadside stands.

10-8B-3: CONDITIONAL USES:

Agricultural activity.
Golf courses, country clubs, golf clubhouses.
Indoor recreation facilities.

10-8B-4: ACCESSORY USES:

Accessory buildings/uses to the permitted uses. (Ord. 2408, 10-1-2012)

10-8B-5: DENSITY, AREA, AND HEIGHT REGULATIONS:

   A.   The maximum zoning lot coverage is ten percent (10%).
   B.   There are no limitations; except, that within one hundred feet (100') of a residential district, no building shall be higher than sixty five feet (65'). (Ord. 2408, 10-1-2012)

10-8C-1: INTENT:

The intent of this district is providing for land located on the periphery of the city's urban area. The goal is to provide a compatible transition from agricultural activities to residential and commercial development, while maintaining the rural character of the land. (Ord. 2408, 10-1-2012)

Farm (hobby).
Farm occupation.
Farm unit.
Farmstead.
Fireworks sales if outside the city limits.

Single-family residential if included within a platted subdivision.
