To carry out the provisions of this Zoning Code, the City of Northwood is hereby divided into the following districts:
A-1 Agricultural District
R-1 Low Density Residential District
RA Rural Residential District
R Suburban Residential District
R-OA-1 Older Area Residential District
R-OA-2 Older Area Residential District
R-4 Multifamily Residential District
MHP Manufactured Home Park District
NCO Neighborhood Commercial and Office District
C Commercial District
M-1 Light Industrial District
M-2 Heavy Industrial District.

1248.02 INCORPORATION OF ZONING MAP.
The location and boundaries of the districts established by this Zoning Code shall be as shown, from time to time, upon the map entitled “Official Zoning Map of the City of Northwood.” Such Map, all copies thereof and all notations, dimensions, designations, references, data and other information shown thereon, are hereby incorporated into and made a part of this Zoning Code. At least one official copy of such Map shall be maintained and openly displayed at the City Hall, the same to be kept in a wholly current and accurate form at all times.

1248.03 DISTRICT BOUNDARY LINES.
An area enclosed by a district boundary line shall be in the district designated therein.

1248.04 RESOLUTION OF UNCERTAINTIES AS TO BOUNDARIES.
Where uncertainty exists as to the precise location of the boundaries of any of the aforesaid districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
(a) Where a boundary line appears within a street or alley, the boundary line shall be deemed to be the centerline of the street or alley. Unless otherwise indicated, the boundaries of zoning districts shall be measured from the right-of-way line.
(b) Where a boundary line appears to follow a lot line, such lot line shall be deemed to be the boundary line.
(c) Where a boundary line appears to be adjoining a railroad, the boundary line shall be deemed to coincide with the boundary line of the railroad right-of-way.
(d) In the cases of parks and cemeteries, the boundary line shall be deemed to coincide with the boundary line of the park or cemetery.
(e) Where a street, alley, watercourse or other right-of-way has been vacated, the abutting zoning classification on each side thereof shall automatically be extended to the centerline of the vacated street, alley, watercourse or right-of- way. A boundary line is to be considered parallel to the nearest lot line along which it runs in cases where an intent to the contrary cannot be found.
