The regulations set forth in this article or set forth elsewhere in this ordinance, when referred to in this article, are the regulations in the C-2 Commercial District.

   A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:

   (1)   Any use permitted in the C-1 Neighborhood Shopping District.

   (2)   Advertising sign, when located at least fifty (50) feet from any “R” District.

   (3)   Automobile or trailer display and sales rooms.

   (4)   Business or commercial school.

   (5)   When located not less than one hundred (100) feet from any “R” District:

      Bowling alley,

      Drive-in theater (when approved by the Board of Appeals),

      Other similar place of entertainment or amusement.

   (6)   Dancing or music academy.

   (7)   Display room for merchandise to be sold at wholesale where merchandise sold is stored elsewhere.

   (8)   Farm implement display and sales room.

   (9)   Frozen food locker.

   (10)   Hotel.

   (11)   Milk distributing station.

   (12)   Motel or tourist home.

   (13)   Parking or public garage.

   (14)   Plant nursery or greenhouse.

   (15)   Radio or television broadcasting station or studio.

   (16)   Theater.

   (17)   Undertaking establishment.

   (18)   Veterinarian or animal hospital or riding academy, provided that no such building, kennel, or exercise runway shall be closer than three hundred (300) feet to any “R” District.

   (19)   Used car sales or storage lot when located at least one hundred fifty (150) feet from any “R” District.

   (20)   When not employing more than ten (10) persons on the premises:

      Dyeing and cleaning establishment or laundry,

      Painting, plumbing, or tinsmithing shop,

      Printing shop,

      Tire sales and service, including vulcanizing,

      Upholstering shop, not involving furniture manufacturing,

      Any other general service or repair establishment of similar character.

   (21)   Accessory building or use customarily incidental to any of the above uses.

   (22)   Farming, provided that any structure or enclosure for the shelter of livestock or poultry shall be located not less than one hundred (100) feet from any street or lot line.

   The height and area regulations set forth in Articles XIII and XIV shall be observed, and in addition, every building or portion thereof used for dwelling purposes shall comply with the side and rear yard and lot area per family requirements of the R-4 Multiple Dwelling District.

   Off-street parking and loading spaces shall be provided in accordance with the requirements for the specific uses set forth in Article XV.
