Sec. 82-9

Interpretation of district boundaries.

Where definite distances in feet are not shown in delineating district boundaries on the zoning map, the district boundaries are to be interpreted as following property lines or extensions thereof, or the centerlines of streets or alleys or extensions thereof when shown as approximately following such lines. Where the location of the district boundary line is not determined in this manner it shall be determined by the scale of the map. Where the street or property layout actually existing on the ground varies from that shown on the zoning map, the zoning board of adjustment shall interpret the district boundary in such a manner as to carry out the intent and purpose of this chapter.
