The Town Board may, on its own motion or on petition and after public hearing, amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal this chapter, pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law and the Municipal Home Rule Law.

Proposed amendments shall be referred to the Town Planning Board and, if required by the General Municipal Law, to the County Planning Board, prior to final action by the Town Board.
