Establishment of Districts

§ 400-4 List of districts.

The Town of Saratoga is hereby divided into the following districts:

Rural District
RR
-
Rural Residential District
K
-
Rural District 2
VE
-
Village Extension District
H
-
Hamlet District
C
-
Conservancy District
LC
-
Lake Commercial District
LR
-
Lake Residential District
I
-
Industrial District (by amendment)

§ 400-5 Zoning Map.

Said districts are bounded and defined as shown on a map (Appendix B) entitled "Zoning Map of the Town of Saratoga," adopted and certified by the Town Board, which accompanies and is hereby made a part of this chapter and may be amended in the same manner as any other part of this chapter.[1]

§ 400-6 Interpretation of district boundaries.

Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of any of the aforesaid districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
A. 
Where district boundaries are indicated as approximately following the center lines of streets or highways, such center lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
B. 
Where district boundaries are so indicated as approximately following the course of a stream or river, such district boundaries shall be construed as being a line equidistant from both banks of said stream or river.
C. 
Where district boundaries are so indicated as approximately following the boundary of the Saratoga/Stillwater Agricultural District, such district boundaries shall be construed as being the Agricultural District boundary.
