Public and Educational Uses District

§ 173-87.18 Intended purpose.

The Public and Educational PE Uses District is to provide for the establishment of a zone for existing and future public and educational uses. The district includes educational uses such as schools. The district also includes public uses such as parks, playgrounds, and cemeteries.

§ 173-87.19 Permitted uses.

Schools and playgrounds.

Parks.

Recreation, public.
D. 
Public uses.
E. 
Open space.
F. 
Public grounds.
G. 
Cemeteries.

§ 173-87.20 Permitted accessory uses.

A. 
None.

§ 173-87.21 Special exceptions.

A. 
Parking.

Ball fields.

§ 173-87.22 Conditional uses.

Conditional uses in the Public and Educational Uses District are as follows:
A. 
None.

§ 173-87.23 Mandatory criteria for certain uses within District.

A. 
None.

§ 173-87.24 Height regulations.

The height of a principal building shall not exceed 30 feet.

§ 173-87.25 Lot area, lot width and impervious coverage regulations.

Unless otherwise specified herein, lot area, lot width and impervious coverage requirements of the following dimensions shall be provided for each structure or use hereafter erected, established or altered for any use permitted within this district:
A. 
Lot area: 300 feet by 100 feet; 30,000 square feet.
B. 
Minimum lot width:
(1) 
Building setback line: 50 feet.
C. 
Coverage regulations:
(1) 
Building coverage: 20% of the lot.
(2) 
Open space: 50% of the lot.
(3) 
Parking: 30% of the lot.

§ 173-87.26 Setback regulations.

The following setback regulations apply to all uses permitted within this district otherwise specified herein involving a structure.
A. 
Front yard setback: 50 feet.
B. 
Side yard setback: 20 feet.
C. 
Rear yard setback: 50 feet.
D. 
Buffer yards shall be provided for in accordance with § 173-93 herein.
E. 
For permitted yard reductions refer to § 173-92 herein.

§ 173-87.27 Off-street parking and access.

Off-street parking and access shall be provided in accordance with Article XVI herein and the Bradford County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, as amended.
