The purpose of this district is to preserve natural resources and provide for limited agricultural operations while encouraging low-density single-family residential development and to provide for accessory uses and compatible public and semipublic uses as conditional uses or uses by special exception.
§ 350-20 Authorized uses.
In the R-1 Single-Family Residential District, only the following uses are authorized:
Other accessory uses customarily incidental to and on the same lot with any permitted use, conditional use or use by special exception authorized in this district.
In the R-1 Single-Family Residential District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article XV.
All principal structures: 2 1/2 stories, but no more than 35 feet. [NOTE: Height of single-family dwelling may be increased by up to 10 additional feet, provided side and rear setbacks are increased by the same number of feet.]
