The purpose of the R-2 district is to promote single-family and multifamily development of low height and small bulk with private, landscaped open space directly accessible to each unit. The primary objective is the development of housing that fits in with the scale, siting and landscaping of single-family and multifamily areas.

Uses allowed in this district shall be as shown in Chapter 17.40 WMC, District Use Chart, provided all applicable provisions of the WMC are met.

Accessory uses allowed in this district shall be as shown in Chapter 17.40 WMC, District Use Chart, provided all applicable provisions of the WMC are met.

Conditional uses that may be allowed in this district, provided the requirements of Chapter 17.52 WMC, Conditional Uses, are met, shall be as shown in Chapter 17.40 WMC, District Use Chart.
