Final decision on demolitions, removals, or alterations. Within 45 days of receipt of the Commission report, the Board of Supervisors will consider the Commission's recommendation for approval or denial of the application for demolition, removal, or alteration of an historic resource at a public hearing. The owner of the resources proposed for demolition, removal, or alteration will be given a minimum of 14 days' notice of the hearing. The Supervisors will consider any evidence, reports, or testimony from interested parties and will render a decision either to deny or approve the application for demolition, removal, or alteration within 30 days of the meeting. This period may be extended, and its length established, by mutual consent.
