This title shall be administered and enforced by the zoning enforcing officer appointed by the mayor with the approval of the council, who is hereby designated and herein referred to as the enforcing officer. The term of office shall be at the pleasure of the mayor and council and the compensation of such officer shall be as fixed from time to time by the council. (Ord. 8/53, 1-18-1954)
