155 VIOLATIONS – PENALTIES
§ 18.155.010 Violations.
(a)
It shall be unlawful to construct or use any structure, land, or water in violation of any of the provisions of this title. In case of any violation, the board of trustees, the zoning administrator, the village plan commission, or any property owner who would be specifically damaged by such violation may institute appropriate action or proceeding to enjoin a violation of this title.
(b)
Whenever an order of the zoning administrator has not been complied with within 30 days after written notice has been mailed to the owner, resident agent or occupant of the premises, the village board, the zoning administrator, or the village attorney may institute appropriate legal action or proceedings.

§ 18.155.020 Penalties.
Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to comply with the provisions of this title shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit not less than $25.00 nor more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution for each violation. Each day a violation exists or continues shall constitute a separate offense.
