This ordinance shall be effective from and after September 18, 2024 (the "effective date"). All applications for building permits, variances, special exceptions, and/or other forms of relief, and all appeals, filed on or prior to September 18, 2024, shall be considered and acted upon on the basis of the laws of the City of Belle Meade in effect prior to the adoption of this ordinance. In turn, all applications for building permits, variances, special exceptions, and/or other forms of relief, and all appeals, filed on or after September 18, 2024 shall be considered and acted upon on the basis of the provisions of this ordinance, taken in conjunction with the provisions of Ordinance No. 8 regulating the construction of buildings and the issuance of building permits, which shall remain in effect.
