Submission: All applications must be filled out completely with the following requirements:
1.
Description of use and impact on surrounding property within two hundred (200) feet.
2.
Site Plan with current zoning of property and zoning of surrounding properties within two hundred (200) feet.
3.
Traffic Study and/or Plan
4.
Parking Plan
5.
Drainage Study and/or Plan
6.
If use is temporary, specific dates need to be noted on application.
7.
All licenses required by the state, county, or city must be obtained and copy given with application.
8.
Application will be reviewed by the Development Review Committee.
9.
A legal ad will be published in the official newspaper ten (10) days prior to the public hearing.
10.
Signs will be placed on the property requesting the SUP with city staff contact information and case number ten (10) days prior to the public hearing.
11.
Letters will be mailed out to all property owners within two hundred (200) feet, fifteen (15) days prior to the public hearing requesting feedback which will be reflected in the staff report given to both the commission and council.
12.
A public hearing will be held during the planning and zoning commission followed by a public hearing during city council.
13.
All permits are valid for a time period deemed appropriate by city council. First time applicants will be given an automatic one (1) year with approval and a renewable option for up to two (2) or three (3) years.
14.
Approved permits will be given a resolution number.
15.
Approved permits will be required to have all appropriate inspections and obtain a certificate of occupancy.
16.
Approved permits can be revoked at any time for the misuse of the permit and/or code violations.
