The City Council of Bloomingdale pursuant to the creation of the Bloomingdale Planning Commission and under the authority of the General Planning Enabling Act of 1957, No. 358, as amended, for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, order, prosperity, and the general welfare of the City of Bloomingdale hereby ordains and enacts into law the following articles and sections.
