35-300Land Use DistrictsFor the purpose of this ordinance, the City of Brooklyn Center is hereby classified into the following land use districts:1)ResidenceR1 One family residenceR2 Two family residenceR3 Multiple family residence (townhouse/garden apartment)R4 Multiple family residence (1-1/2 and 2 story)R5 Multiple family residence (2-1/2 and 3 story)R6 Multiple family residence (4 and 5 story)R7 Multiple family residence (6 stories or more)2)CommerceC1 Service / OfficeC1A Service/officeC2 Commerce3)IndustryI-1 Industrial ParkI-2 General Industry4)Open SpaceO-1 Public open space reservedO-2 Public and private open space reservedThe location and boundaries of the districts established by this ordinance are set forth in Sections 35-1100, 35-1110, 35-1120, 35-1130, 35-1140, 35-1150, 35-1160, 35-1170, 35-1180, 35-1190, 35-1200, 35-1210, 35-1220, 35-1230. Unless otherwise indicated by relation to established lines, points, or features, the district boundary lines are the centerlines of streets, alleys, or railroad rights-of-way, existing or extended.
