District Regulations

§ 100-20 Prohibited uses.

A. 
Any use not listed as permitted within a zoning district is assumed to be prohibited in that zoning district.
B. 
The following uses are specifically prohibited in all zoning districts:
(1) 
Mobile home not located within a legally established mobile home park.
(2) 
Junkyard.
(3) 
Kennel or animal hospital.
(4) 
Waste disposal facility or area.
(5) 
Adult arcade, adult bookstore, adult video store, adult cabaret and adult use or entertainment establishment.

§ 100-20.1 Zoning Use Chart.

Permitted uses in each zone are designated in the Village of Dannemora Zoning Use Chart. The Chart is included as Addendum A to this chapter.[2]

§ 100-21 R1 Residential District.

Minimum lot size in the R1 Residential District shall be:
(1) 
Single-family dwelling: 8,500 square feet.
(2) 
Two-family dwelling: 12,000 square feet.
(3) 
Multifamily dwelling: 8,500 square feet, plus 2,500 square feet for each bachelor unit; 3,000 square feet for each one-bedroom unit; 3,500 square feet for each two-bedroom unit; and 4,500 square feet for each three-or-more-bedroom unit.
(4) 
Public and semipublic buildings and grounds: 20,000 square feet.

Minimum dimensions in the R1 Residential District shall be:
