CBD DISTRICT

§ 152.110 CENTRAL BUSINESS (CBD) DISTRICT.

   The purpose of the Central Business (CBD) District is to encourage a centralized area of mixed commercial and residential uses. The goal of this district is to provide convenient, pedestrian-oriented business that meet the needs of residents in this neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods, as well as walkable dining and entertainment options that are attractive for residents and visitors alike.

§ 152.111 PERMITTED USES IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS (CBD) DISTRICT.

   The following shall be uses permitted by right in the Central Business (CBD) District:
Amphitheater
Animal hospital/veterinary office
Bakery
Bank/financial institution
Bed and breakfast inn I
Bed and breakfast inn II
Bed and breakfast inn III
Brewery pub
Bus/transit shelter
Butcher shop
Catering business
Child day care facility, Class 1
Child day care facility, Class 2
Child day care facility, Class 3
Child day care facility, Class 4
Clinic
Community facility
Conference center
Convenience store
Coworking space
Cultural service

§ 152.112 CONDITIONAL USES IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS (CBD) DISTRICT.

   The following shall be conditional uses in the Central Business (CBD) District:
Conversion of school/church
Dog day care
Dwelling, conversion apartment
Emergency shelter
Garage, public
Gas station
Hotel/motel
Medical adult day care center
Night club
Parking lot
Parking structure
Private club
Retail store/shop 7,000 to 25,000 square feet
Roadside vendor stand
School, commercial
Shopping center
Sports arena
Winery

§ 152.113 CENTRAL BUSINESS (CBD) DISTRICT LOT REQUIREMENTS.

For commercial and industrial buildings, the maximum percentage of lot occupancy may be 100%; provided, that the Building Code and the sanitary provisions of this city code of ordinances, and the provisions of this code with reference to parking area, are fully complied with

Single-family and multi-family dwellings in the CBD District shall follow the dimensional requirements for the City Residential Zoning District, except for building height.
