A building or land shall be used for the following purposes, consisting of general light industrial, warehousing and storage uses, including certain open or enclosed storage of products, materials and vehicles, and including the following uses and similar uses which are not likely to create any more offensive noise, vibration, dust, heat, smoke, odor, glare or other objectionable influences than the minimum amount normally resulting for other uses listed, such listed uses being generally wholesale establishments, service industries and light industries that manufacture, process, store and distribute goods and materials and are, in general, dependent on raw materials, refined elsewhere, and manufacture, compounding, processing, packaging or treatment, as specified, of the following products or similar products:
(1) Any use permitted in the UR1 Urban Residential District, UR2 Medium Residential District, UR3 Neighborhood Residential District, UB1 Urban Business District, UB2 Neighborhood Business District, UB3 Professional Business District or LI1 Limited Industrial District, provided that the provisions of the districts are met, where applicable.
(2) Agriculture or farm implement manufacture, sale, storage or repair.
(3) Aircraft and aircraft parts.
(4) Aluminum extrusion, rolling, fabrication and forming.
(5) Animal, poultry and bird raising, commercial.
(6) Automobiles, trucks, buses, truck motorcycles and bicycles repair and assembly; transmission repair service.
(7) Bedding manufacture (mattress, pillow and quilt).
(8) Blacksmith shops, not including gas and steam fitting shops.
(9) Boat manufacture and repair (vessels less than five tons), boat sales, service, storage or rentals.
(10) Building materials (cement, lime in bags or containers, sand gravel, stone lumber, structural or reinforcing steel, pipe and the like) storage and sales, open or enclosed, but no manufacture or steel fabricating or junk storage.
(12) Canning, preserving, drying and freezing of fruit and vegetables.
(13) Carbon paper and inked ribbon manufacturer.
(14) Condensed and evaporated milk, processing and canning.
(15) Dairy operations and dairy products, ice cream, cheese.
(16) Electrical appliances or electronic apparatus, medical, optical or drafting equipment, toys, games, musical instruments manufacture or assembly.
(19) Fertilizer storage in bags or bulk storage or liquid or dry fertilizer in tanks or in a completely enclosed building, but not manufacture or processing.
(21) Food products manufacture, processing and packaging of such products as candy, chewing gum, cocoa products, coffee, tea and spices, macaroni and noodles.
(22) Foundry products manufacture (electrical only).
(23) Fuel and petroleum storage and/or distribution centers.
(24) Furniture manufacture (wood, reed, rattan, metal, plastic).
(25) Grain blending and packaging, but not milling.
(26) Heating, ventilating, cooling and refrigeration supplies and appliances.
(27) Ice manufacture, including dry ice.
(28) Industrial vocational training school, including internal combustion engines.
(29) Insecticides, fungicides, disinfectants and related industrial and household chemical elements (blending only).
(30) Knitting, weaving, printing, finishing of textiles and fibers into fabric goods, or clothing, hats, hosiery.
(31) Laundries, linen service.
(32) Leather goods manufacture, but not including tanning operations.
(33) Livery stables and riding academies.
(34) Machinery manufacture and machine shops.
(35) Masonry materials and equipment storage.
(36) Meat products, packing and processing (not slaughtering).
(37) Metal products manufacture, such products as bolts, nails, staples, needles, pins, metal containers, ornamental iron fabrication, silverware and plated wire.
(38) Mobile home and modular home manufacturing.
(39) Oleomargarine (compounding and packing only).
(40) Planning and millwork, lumberyard.
(41) Plating, electrolytic process.
(42) Plumbing supplies, manufacture, sale or storage.
(43) Pulp goods, pressed or molded (including paper mache products).
(44) Poultry packing and slaughtering (wholesale).
(45) Radiator repair, cleaning and flushing.
(46) Railroad switching yard, primarily for railroad service in the district, team tracks and spur tracks.
(48) Rubber and synthetic treated fabrics (excluding all rubber and synthetic processing).
(49) Sheet metal products, ductwork, containers.
(50) Shipping container (corrugated board, fiber or wire bound).
(51) Soap, washing or cleaning, powder or soda (compounding only).
(52) Telephone Central office, including outdoor storage and repair facilities.
