ARTICLE XIX

ED Education District

§ 230-139 Permitted uses.

Buildings may be erected, altered or used and land may be used for any of the following purposes and none other:
A. 
Athletic fields, gymnasiums, auditoriums.
B. 
Educational and/or institutional buildings; and dormitories, provided that residential structures will be used solely by or for students at the educational institution.

C. 
Greenhouses.
D. 
Museums.
E. 
Picnic areas and gazebos.
F. 
Pools.
G. 
Skating rinks.
H. 
University, colleges or schools.
I. 
Other uses incidental to an educational facility.

§ 230-140 Site plan required.

More than one main building and accessory building shall be permitted, provided that no building may be erected or altered without first submitting a site plan to the Planning Commission for review, approval, comments, recommendations and/or changes.

§ 230-141 Front yard requirements.

There shall be a front yard extending back from the property line along a street a distance of not less than 100 feet, and parking within the front yard setback shall be prohibited.

§ 230-142 Side yard requirements.

There shall be two side yards, one on each side of the main building or buildings, neither of which shall be less than 10 feet wide.

§ 230-143 Rear yard requirements.

There shall be a rear yard, the depth of which shall be at least 10 feet.

§ 230-144 Signs.

Signs identifying the various buildings or the facility as well as informational or directional signs shall be permitted.

§ 230-145 Use restrictions.

No building may be erected, altered or used and no lot or premises may be used for a trade, industry or business that is noxious or offensive by reason of odor, dust, smoke, gas, vibrations or noise.

§ 230-146 Additional provisions.

The regulations set forth in this article are supplemented or modified by the provisions contained in the following articles:
