Hamburg Town City Zoning Code

ARTICLE I

Enactment

§ 280-1 Comprehensive Zoning Law enacted.

Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg, Erie County, New York, pursuant to Article 3, § 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, to replace Chapter 280 of the Code of the Town of Hamburg, New York, entitled "Zoning Code," with a new comprehensive Zoning Local Law to be known as "Chapter 280," entitled "Zoning."

§ 280-2 Title; placement in Code.

This chapter shall be known as the "Town of Hamburg Zoning Law of 1986 of the Town of Hamburg, County of Erie and State of New York," and shall constitute Chapter 280 of the Code of the Town of Hamburg.

§ 280-3 When effective.

This chapter shall be in effect after adoption and publication as prescribed in §§ 20 and 27 of Article 3 of Chapter 36-a of the Consolidated Laws of New York State.[1]

§ 280-4 Repealer.

Unless otherwise provided in this chapter, pursuant to Article 3, § 22 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, the Town of Hamburg Zoning Code and Map of 1976, adopted by the Town of Hamburg on May 19, 1976, together with all subsequent amendments thereto, are hereby repealed on the effective date of this chapter.
