- SCHEDULE OF FEES, CHARGES AND EXPENSES
Applicants requesting rezoning, conditional land uses, special exceptions, variances, administrative appeals, site plan approval, plat approval or PUD zoning shall file a written application 45-days in advance of the first public hearing and the applicant shall be required to pay the following fees at the time of application:
(a)
Application for rezoning not involving a change in the city's comprehensive plan .....$450.00
(b)
Application for rezoning involving a change in the city's comprehensive plan and affecting less than five (5) percent of the land area of the city .....$500.00
(c)
Application for rezoning involving a change in the city's comprehensive plan and affecting five (5) percent or more of the land area of the city .....$800.00
(d)
Application for special exception .....$500.00
(e)
Application for variance .....$500.00
(f)
Application for an appeal of an administrative decision .....$450.00
(g)
Application for site plan. Pre-application conference $300.00; Site plan submittal: $800.00 for 1 acre or less and $50.00 for each additional acre or portion thereof. .....
(h)
Application for preliminary plat. Pre-application conference $300.00; Plat submittal: $800.00 plus $15.00 per lot. .....
(i)
Final Plat approval—$300.00 plus $15.00 per lot. .....
(j)
Application for PUD zoning. Pre-application conference $300.00; Application $800.00. .....
(k)
Application for final PUD development plan. Application .....$500.00.
(l)
Vacate and abandonment .....$300.00.
In addition to the forgoing fees, an applicant requesting approval of any of the foregoing items shall be required to reimburse the city the actual cost incurred by the city for all advertising required incident to the application and all public hearings required to be held in connection with the application. In those cases involving a change in the city's comprehensive plan, the applicant shall also be required to pay all of the city's costs for legal fees, engineering fees, planning consultant's fees and all other actual expenses of the city of any kind or nature whatsoever incurred by the city incident to or as part of the change in the comprehensive plan, including those costs incurred by the city in any administrative hearings or appeals following approval of the requested change in the city's comprehensive plan.
No final action shall be taken by the city relative to any of the foregoing applications until such fees, costs and charges have been paid, and in any event, no building permit or certificate of occupancy shall be issued with respect to any construction contemplated by such application until all such fees, costs and charges have been paid. When, in accordance with the provisions of this section, a fee is paid, there shall be no return or rebate of any funds so received, regardless of the city's determination in the matter involved. All fees, costs and charges shall be, upon collection, deposited in the general fund of the city.
The schedule of fees, charges and expenses provided for herein may be amended, changed or modified from time to time by the adoption of a resolution of the city council.
