If any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure, or land is used in violation of this ordinance, the City of Indian Harbour Beach, in addition to all other remedies herein provided, may institute an appropriate action or proceeding to restrain and enjoin such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use, or to impose a penalty for such violation in order to prevent the occupancy or use of such building, structure or land, contrary to the provisions hereof, or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such premises.
