The Highway Signage Overlay is instituted to provide for principal and accessory sign uses oriented to the I-79 corridor, particularly with respect to interchanges with I-79 their relation to highway-oriented uses in the Township which rely, in part, upon regional traffic as a customer base.

The uses authorized within and the yard and bulk requirements associated with the base or underlying zoning district shall not be modified within the boundaries of the Highway Signage (HS) Overlay District, unless expressly stated within this Part 10. Additional uses, as authorized in Part 27 of this chapter and subject to the provisions of said Part 27 shall be subject to the performance standards and yard and bulk requirements of this chapter.
