§ 27-801 I Industrial District.

1. 
Intended Purpose. The Industrial District is intended to provide an area within the Township for, and conducive to, the development of modern, small-scale administrative facilities, research institutions, specialized manufacturing organizations and industrial uses.
2. 
Principal Permitted Use.
Agricultural products processing
Antennas mounted on an existing public utility transmission tower, communications equipment buildings, existing building or other existing structure subject to § 27-1210
Bus stations
Business offices
Business services
Contractor yards
Crop production
Forestry and forest reserves, fish and game refuges, and similar conservation uses
Industry
Lumberyards
Manufacturing, light
Office buildings
Park and ride facilities
Public and semipublic buildings and uses
Recycling facilities
Retail home heating fuel distributors
Short-term rental in a single-family dwelling existing on or before January 27, 2023 (§ 27-1014)
Single-family dwelling on a lot existing on or before the effective date of this chapter
Small warehouse
Subdivision of two residential lots meeting R-1 District requirements from any tract existing on or before the effective date of this chapter
Storage yards for forest products and minerals
Temporary construction buildings, which must be removed 30 days after the use ends
Township buildings and uses
Wholesale businesses
Wineries, farm
3. 
Accessory Uses. Customary accessory uses and buildings incidental to any of the uses allowed in the I District, including:
A. 
Animal husbandry, home use (§ 27-1203, Subsection 5).
B. 
Data center accessory uses.
C. 
Data center equipment.
D. 
Decks and porches.
E. 
Family day care.
F. 
Garages and carports.
G. 
Home occupations (§ 27-1004).
H. 
No-impact home-based businesses (§ 27-1003).
I. 
Off-street parking required by § 27-1005.
J. 
Raising of garden crops for domestic purposes, and the occasional or casual sale of products therefrom.
K. 
Signs permitted in the C District by Part 17.
L. 
Storage buildings, greenhouses, swimming pools accessory to the principal use.
M. 
Other customary uses and buildings, provided that such uses are clearly incidental to the principal use.
