This chapter shall be entitled "Fire Hazard Area Regulations" and is adopted pursuant to the requirements of Government Code Section 51175. The areas described as very high fire hazard severity zone (VHFHSZ) have been recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The town of Moraga's VHFHSZ, is designated on a map titled "Moraga — Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones in LRA" dated January 7, 2009, and retained on file and made available at the office of the fire chief and at the offices of the town of Moraga. Construction within the VHFHSZ shall be subject to the requirements of Chapter 7A of the California Building Code and all other applicable laws as may be amended.
