CHAPTER 4

DISTRICTS AND MAP

10-4-1: DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED:

For the purposes of this title, all land in the city, and all land and waters in sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, and 24, the northeast quarter of section 27, the northern half of section 26, and the northwest quarter of section 25 of the township of Mt. Pulaski, Logan County, Illinois, is hereby divided into districts, as follows:
 
R-1
Residential district
B-1
General business district
B-2
Highway business district
M-1
Limited manufacturing district
M-2
General manufacturing district
A-1
Agricultural district

10-4-2: INTERPRETATION OF DISTRICT BOUNDARIES:

   A.   Boundaries of the zoning districts are hereby established as shown on the map entitled "zoning map, Mt. Pulaski, Illinois", dated August 8, 1974, and made a part of this title by reference. Such boundaries shall be construed to follow: corporate limits; U.S. public land survey lines, lot or property lines; centerlines of streets, highways, alleys, easements and railroad rights of way or such lines extended; unless otherwise noted on the zoning map.
   B.   All land annexed to the city subsequent to the effective date hereof shall be automatically made a part of the R-1 district unless the annexation ordinance places the land in another district. (Ord., 8-24-1974)

10-4-3: ZONING MAP:

A certified copy of the zoning map shall be adopted and approved with the text as part of this title, and shall be available to the public in the office of the city clerk. (Ord., 8-24-1974)
