It is the intention of this chapter to establish a specific plan that will guide the orderly growth and development of that area known as Clearwater East as identified in the City of Paramount General Plan. It is the purpose of this chapter to implement the Paramount General Plan objectives, policies and general land uses as they pertain to the subject area and to establish consistency between the general plan and Clearwater East.

There is hereby adopted by reference that document known as the Clearwater East Specific Plan, which shall contain all applicable land use regulations constituting zoning for the Clearwater East area. Said document shall be that document contained in Exhibit "A" of Ordinance No. 1145.

The revision and amendment of this specific plan shall be conducted pursuant to Sections 65450 to 65457 of the California Government Code in accordance with procedures established by the City of Paramount.
