All applications for building permits shall be accompanied by a plat in triplicate, drawn to scale, showing the actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the size of the building to be erected, its position on the lot, house plans, and such other information as may be necessary to provide for the enforcement of these regulation[s].

A careful record of such applications, plans and plats shall be maintained by the Building Inspector.
