AGRICULTURAL-LOW DENSITY DISTRICT

5-9-1: USES:

Advertising signs and structures.
Agriculture.
Church.
Dwelling, single-family.
Gift shop.
Home occupation.
Nursery for flowers and plants.
Roadside stands (seasonal). (Ord. 431, 10-24-2002)

5-9-2: SPECIAL USES:

The planning commission may, after notice and public hearing, permit the following uses where such uses are deemed essential or desirable to the public convenience or welfare. The commission shall have the authority to impose such conditions and safeguards as it deems necessary to protect the best interests of the surrounding property or neighborhood from damage, hazard, nuisance or other detriment.
The following special uses may be permitted in the A zone:
   Amusement center indoor.
   Archery range indoor.
   Asphalt plant.
   Auto repair.
   Auto sales, service, storage, rental.
   Automotive wrecking yard.
   Bakery or bakery goods store.
   Bank, saving, loans.
   Barber, beauty shop.
   Beverage bottling plant.
   Billboard manufacturing.
   Boat building.
   Boat mooring.
   Bowling alley.
   Building supply outlet/lumberyard.
   Business college, trade school.
   Cabinet shop.
   Campground.
   Car wash.
   Cemetery.
   Chemical storage and manufacturing.
   Cleaning, commercial dry cleaning.
   Cleaning, laundromat.
   Clinic, outpatient.
   Club building.
   Dairy products processing.
   Dance, music, or voice studio.
   Daycare center.
   Drive-in restaurant.
   Drive-in theater.
   Drugstore.
   Dwelling, multi-family.
   Dwelling, rooming house.
   Dwelling, two-family.
   Equipment rental, sales yard.

5-9-3: LOT AREA:

The minimum lot area for all uses shall not be less than one acre or forty three thousand five hundred sixty (43,560) square feet. (Ord. 431, 10-24-2002)

5-9-4: YARDS:

   (A)   Front Yards: A front yard shall be provided of a depth of not less than fifty feet (50') from a public road right of way.
   (B)   Rear Yards: Not less than fifty feet (50') from a public road right of way.
   (C)   Side Yards: A side yard shall be provided of a depth of not less than five feet (5') and not less than fifty feet (50') from a public road right of way.
   (D)   Detached Accessory Building For Farm Or Residential Uses: A front and side yard shall be provided of a depth of not less than thirty feet (30') from a public road right of way. (Ord. 431, 10-24-2002)

5-9-5: OFF STREET PARKING:

   (A)   Each farm or dwelling unit shall provide adequate off street parking for all necessary farm equipment and two (2) private vehicles.
   (B)   All other parking shall be as required in chapter 10 of this title. (Ord. 431, 10-24-2002; amd. Ord. 534-2018, 2-15-2018)
