A resident or permitted institution in an agricultural district shall be allowed to hold no more than two sales of used or unwanted personal property on the premises, for no more than three consecutive days per each event, in a calendar year. Any garage sale, yard sale, or other sale or public marketing on the premises in excess of this limitation, or any sale of property which was purchased or acquired for resale, is prohibited.
