No public garage shall have an opening in the roof or side or rear walls, less than 20 feet from any property line or street right-of-way, and no public garage or private garage accommodating more than five cars or gasoline filling station shall have an entrance within 500 feet, measured in a straight line, to a public school, public library, church, theater or other public gathering place or park or playground.

Gasoline filling stations and gasoline pumps whose service facilities are not within a public garage shall have their gasoline pumps and other service facilities set back at least 50 feet from any street line. No gasoline filling station shall hereafter be permitted within 1,500 feet of other existing gasoline filling stations or public buildings.
