- RR, R-1, AND R-2 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS
The regulations of the RR, R-1 and R-2 districts are intended to encourage a suitable environment for a variety of residential densities, and compatible supportive recreational, institutional, and educational uses. The intent of the districts is to protect residential areas from the encroachment of uses that are not appropriate to a residential environment.

The following abbreviations apply to the table of uses for the RR, Rural Residential; R-1, Low Density Residential and R-2, Medium Density Residential Districts:
