§ 13

Fences, Walls And Visibility At Corners.

13-100 
All fences, walls, shrubs and trees shall be construed and maintained in accordance with the following standards.
13-101 
All fences, walls and hedges located in front of the minimum required front yard line as specified herein, shall not be constructed or maintained to a height exceeding three (3) feet above the grade of the lot.
13-102 
All fences and walls located at the rear of the minimum required front yard line and erected on the side lot shall not exceed eight (8) feet in height. Fences or walls which are erected to observe the minimum front, side and rear yard for buildings as herein specified may be erected to any maximum height specified for a building on the lot or tract where such fence or wall is located.
13-103 
Property owners must preserve a visual line of sight at intersections to allow for pedestrian and vehicular traffic safety. All fences, walls, hedges, shrubs or trees located on corner lots shall be set back so as not to obstruct the visibility at a street intersection for a distance of fifteen (15) feet back from the property corner at the intersection on both the front and side street frontages. For trees, shrubs and similar appurtenances, the free vision area at the corner shall be applicable from three (3) feet above the curb grade at the intersection to a distance ten (10) feet above the curb grade.
