The CCO Commercial Corridor Overlay District is intended to recognize the highway commercial corridor character of certain areas of the B-2, General Business District on Polk Road and State Street. This district is applied over the B-2 District and allows for permissions and/or restrictions in addition to those of the underlying B-2 District.

   All uses, structures, and development within the CCO District shall be subject to all of the requirements of the B-2, General Business District. In addition, any property in the CCO District containing a principal use in conformance with the requirements of this chapter (including nonconforming uses or structures as regulated by Chapter 1262) shall be permitted to erect one electronic display sign in accordance with the requirements of Section 1259.05.

   The Overlay District Boundary is defined as any land zoned B-2, General Business District with frontage on the following streets: Polk Road and State Street between Polk Road and Wood Street.
