If any word, phrase, clause, paragraph, section, part, subdivision, or provision of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or held unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts of the ordinance as a whole or in any part or provision thereof, other than that part or parts adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional.

If any provision of this ordinance hereby enacted shall later be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional and such invalid or unconstitutional provision amends or replaces an earlier or preexisting zoning ordinance or provision therein in effect at the time of the passage of this ordinance, then such preexisting zoning ordinance or provision shall be considered not to have been repealed, amended, or changed by such provision that is held to be invalid or unconstitutional.
