The provisions of this ordinance shall be administered and enforced by the person designated by the mayor of the City of Hedwig Village. All applications for building permits shall be forwarded to the city accompanied by a plot plan in duplicate, drawn to scale showing the actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the size of the building to be erected, and such other information as may be necessary to provide for the enforcement of these regulations and all other ordinances and regulations of the City of Hedwig Village. A careful record of such applications and plot plans shall be kept in the Hedwig Village City Hall.
A.
Permit. A building permit is hereby required for the erection, altering, enlarging, or extension of a building and also for the moving of a building from one location to another. However, no building permit will be issued unless the location of the improvements to be made is described by lot and block number on a duly approved and recorded plat.
B.
Certificate of occupancy. No building hereafter erected, altered, enlarged or extended so as to affect the use, building area, a yard thereof or height of a building, shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatsoever until a certificate of occupancy shall have been issued by the city stating that the building or proposed use complies with the provisions of this zoning code. Certificates of occupancy shall be applied for coincident with the application for a building permit and shall be issued within ten days after the building has been completed in conformity with the provisions of this zoning code and all ordinances and regulations of the City of Hedwig Village. A record of all such certificates shall be kept on file in the Hedwig Village City Hall.
All fees for permits including occupancy, inspection or otherwise shall be paid in accordance with the ordinances, regulations and codes of the City of Hedwig Village.
