CHAPTER 17

16 - APPEALS

17.16.010 - Board of appeals—Establishment.

A board of appeals is established as authorized by the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 11-13. The provisions of said statute authorizing the appointment of such board of appeals, and its provisions as to organization of such board, filling vacancies, removal of members, meetings, jurisdiction, and powers are adopted and made a part of this title by reference.

17.16.020 - Variations.

The board of appeals shall have the power authorized by the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 11-13, to be granted to such board by the village board, to determine and vary the application of the regulations of this zoning title, subject to all the provisions pertaining to the exercise of such power contained in said chapter and section of said statutes.

The provisions of the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 11-13, are adopted and made a part of this chapter by reference.
