MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL MDR DISTRICT

Sec. 208-601.- Purpose.

The TOWNSHIP recognizes the need to provide for a variety of housing opportunities for its current and future residents. It is the intent and purpose of this district to provide opportunities for higher density residential DEVELOPMENT in the form of ATTACHED DWELLING UNITS in selected locations: which have access to the regional highway network, where public water and sewer service is available, where natural features create buffers between adjoining USES, and where topographic or other characteristics create limitations for single-FAMILY DEVELOPMENT.

Sec. 208-602. - Permitted Principal USES, CONDITIONAL USES and ACCESSORY USES.

Principal USES permitted-by-right for the Medium Density Residential District are listed in the table of USES located in Article 300, Section 208-301.

CONDITIONAL USES allowed within the Medium Density Residential District are listed in the table of USES located in Article 300, Section 208-301.

ACCESSORY USES permitted-by-right or as a conditional USE in the Medium Density Residential District are listed in the table of ACCESSORY USES located in Article 300, Section 208-302. Requirements applicable to ACCESSORY USES in the district are located in Article 300, Section 208-304.
