OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION DISTRICT

11-8-1: OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION DISTRICT PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The purpose of the OS open space and recreation district is to ensure the continued existence, maintenance, conservation and protection of publicly and privately owned open space, natural areas, and passive and active recreation facilities that serve the village and surrounding region.
