- ENFORCEMENT OF ZONING VIOLATION
The office of code enforcement shall designate and authorize enforcement of this section to the code enforcement officer, per Resolution No. 96-78, except as otherwise herein specifically provided.

Upon determination of the office of code enforcement that the zoning ordinance has been violated, and upon consultation with the planning director, the code enforcement officer shall send a written notice to the owner of the property and/or building involved and to the person responsible for the violation. This notification shall include:
(A)
The section of the zoning ordinance being violated.
(B)
An order to cease such violation.
(C)
A list of remedial actions indicating the necessary steps to abate such violation or violations.
(D)
Information concerning penalties for violation of the zoning ordinance.

The board of county commission[ers], in addition to the other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceedings of a civil action in the circuit court, to enjoin and restrain any person violating the provisions of this ordinance.
