ARTICLE XVI

C-3 COMMERCIAL MIXED-USE DISTRICT

Sec. 38-491.- Purpose.

The C-3 district is intended to provide for mixed use areas of office, limited commercial, and residential apartments or condominiums. Allowed commercial and office uses are generally compatible in size, scale, and site characteristics with these residential environments. The C-3 district is generally most appropriate along collector or arterial streets, to provide separation between high-intensity commercial districts and residential neighborhoods, and in planned commercial areas in newly developing residential districts.
