The comprehensive plan map of the city of Selah outside the boundaries of the city of Selah is adopted subject to the provisions of Chapter 88, Extraordinary Session Laws of 1965, the area described as follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of Section 11, Township 13, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence south to the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 13, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence west to the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section 11, Township 13, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence north to the southeast corner of the northeast half of Section 3, Township 13, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence west to the southwest corner of the northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 13, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence north to the northwest corner of the southeast quarter of Section 27, Township 14, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence east to the northeast corner of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 14, Range 19, E.W.M.; thence southwesterly along channel of Yakima River to southeast corner of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter; thence west to the point of beginning.

The map of the area, which map is a part of this chapter is so identified as such and bears the date of adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter and the signature of the mayor and clerk. (Ord. 523, § 1, 1974.)

The principles and standards for future development and utilization of future growth of the city of Selah, together with the regulations and restrictions for land use and development, being the city of Selah Zoning Code (Selah Code, Chapter 10) as heretofore and hereafter amended, shall apply to the described area in the manner set forth on the map. (Ord. 523, § 2, 1974.)

At such time the described area or any part thereof is annexed to the city of Selah, the city council may provide in the annexation ordinance that so much of the area as is hereby annexed shall be subject to and a part of the comprehensive plan extension herein adopted. (Ord. 523, § 3, 1974.)
