INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT.

(a)

Purpose. An IN District is intended to provide an area for the location and development of county, state, or federal institutions which do not adversely affect the surrounding neighborhood.

(b)

Permitted Uses. The following uses are permitted within an IN District:

(i)

Correctional institutions;

(ii)

Mental health institutions; and

(iii)

Uses customarily incident to any of the above uses when located on the same lot and not involving the conduct of a business.

(c)

Requirements. The following requirements apply within an IN District:

(i)

A minimum lot size of 5 acres and a minimum lot width of 100 feet;

(ii)

A front yard setback of 100 feet, rear yard setback of 25 feet, and a side yard setback of 25 feet; and

(iii)

A maximum building height of 65 feet.
