Sec. 9-211

Parking requirements.

(a)

Parking will be as follows for single-family dwellings: Two spaces per dwelling unit;

(b)

Parking will be as follows for churches, temples, and other places of worship and mortuaries: One space for each five seats in the main auditorium or 64 square feet where there are no seats. The available parking shall be within 100 feet of the property perimeter, and no more than 50 percent of the spaces shall be on public streets:

Parking shall be as follows for theaters, auditoriums, sports arenas, and places of public assembly: One space for every five seats. The available parking shall be within 100 feet of the property perimeter, and no more than 50 percent of the spaces shall be on public streets.

(d)

Parking will be as follows for schools, public and private: Elementary—Two spaces per classroom, laboratory or training shop; junior high—Two spaces per classroom, laboratory or training shop; senior high—Ten spaces per classroom, laboratory or manual training shop; colleges, universities, trade, industrial, and business schools—Ten spaces per classroom, laboratory or other teaching room;

(e)

Parking will be as follows for commercial, business and professional offices: One space for each 300 feet of gross floor area;

(f)

Parking will be as follows for industrial zones: One space for each employee as well as the required one space for each 300 square feet of gross floor area.
